POEMS is an online securities trading system provided by Phillip Securities (HK) LTD.. Once you are our client, you can manage your transactions via POEMS at your convenience. POEMS also provides a variety of market information to our clients, such as Real Time stock quotation, investor notes, Teletext screen, stock graphs, news file, market research & analyze reports and technical analyze data etc. It is free of charge for our clients! Most importantly, clients can place trade orders, check the transaction and account status via website, this helps clients handle their investment effectively.

Yes. Phillip Securities (HK) LTD. is the recognized financial services provider for using AMS/3 ”Broker Supplied System” (BBS). POEMS which is a kind of BBS, can directly connect to the trading system of HKEx.

It is free of charges for opening both account and POEMS, no annual or monthly fee associated.

There is no difference between local and oversea clients in regard to margin requirement when opening an account. However, clients who do not open his/her account in person are required to deposit an amount of HKD 10000 or above personal cheque (or equivalent)

Other than POEMS, clients of Phillip Securities can process their transactions through Advance Trading System (ATS), telebroker services, or contact their Account Executive directly.

Clients may place order and access POEMS whenever they need.

There are two quotation systems, named as Snapshot Teletext and Realtime Teletext.
Snapshot Teletext: The quotation system is free of charge. It is calculated based on the credit points
Realtime Teletext: It is a real-time quotation system. You can either pay HKD$288 or use 2000 points to employ service of Real-Time Teletext system for one month.

The difference between real-time and the Snapshot Teletext is that the Real-time teletext has the automatic renew function, the price of the stock updates automatically after entering the stock code.

We offer 800 credit points to our clients when they open account. For Snapshot Teletext users, clients trade via online services will be awarded 1 point for every HKD200 transaction. 1 point will be deducted for every stock quote and showing a graph.
Client may also pay HKD 500 to purchase 2000 credit points.

In order to provide professional and individual trading services, the commission rate of trade through Account Executive, POEMS or Telebroker is standardized as 0.25% of the transaction amount (minimum HKD$100).
